Please note these terms and conditions regardless whether or not you choose to purchase from Saffron Rose Floral Design. We make this website available to you to advertise the service of delivery of flowers, plants, gifts and other items. This legal notice applies to the entire contents of this website and to any correspondence between us and you. The copyright and other intellectual property rights in all content and material on this website (including without limitation the name Saffron Rose Floral Design, photographs, logos, trade marks and graphical images) are owned by Saffron Rose Floral Design.


All prices include VAT. Payment is to be made by cheque or cash. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is to be made in full a minimum of seven days prior to the date the floristry is required. When you confirm your order, you consent to be bound by our terms and conditions.

Your Order

For your order to be processed and delivered on the required date, you must supply us with all the relevant details requested, including full delivery details, post code and telephone number. Your order will only be processed if full details are provided.

Your order will be acknowledged via e-mail, text or letter. We will not consider ourselves bound by a contract with you until we are in receipt of your confirmed order whether via email or letter.

Due to seasonal and market availability we reserve the right to change all or some of the flowers, plants, gifts or packaging with an item of equal or greater value without notice. Please be advised that colouring of flowers or plants can vary seasonally. Some flower bouquet or plants contents may be harmful if eaten and some items may be a skin irritant.


For bouquet deliveries, cancellations cannot be made within 2 days of order date due to the fact that we will have ordered your flowers from our suppliers and paid for them in advance. For larger orders e.g. wedding flowers, cancellation must be made, in writing, a minimum of 14 days in advance of the wedding date.


Orders from Saffron Rose Floral Design will be made and delivered personally. For local deliveries, should the recipient be away at the time of delivery we will try and leave the order with a neighbour and leave a card advising of the order’s location. If there is no neighbour available, a card will be left stating attempted delivery with a request to phone us to arrange re-delivery at a convenient time.

We do not deliver on bank holidays or Sundays except for Mothering Sunday. We will always try to deliver at the time requested by our customers but are unable to guarantee timed deliveries except for funeral deliveries. It is the sender’s responsibility to ensure that all order for funerals state a funeral time and correct delivery details.

Please ensure that you give us full and accurate details, including the address and the postal code, of the recipient. We will not be responsible for any orders which are not delivered due to incorrect or incomplete information being supplied by you.

Flowers sent to hospitals and business addresses will be delivered to the main reception. Hospital deliveries must state a full name and ward name. It is the sender’s responsibility to check that a hospital allows living flowers and plants. If the hospital refuses the order, as a gesture of good will we will re-deliver a fruit basket to the same value, but we are not obliged to inform the sender.

Purchases of gifts containing alcohol may only be made and received by persons of 18 years or over. We reserve the right to refuse any sale at our discretion.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances outside our reasonable control including but not limited to any fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, government act, act of war, terrorism, act of God, or from any industrial dispute or strike whatsoever.

Personal messages

Any messages posted by you on your card or sent by us on your behalf to a third party will not contain anything which could be construed as harassing, threatening, vulgar, abusive, obscene, defamatory, racist or which may cause embarrassment or distress to any person or are otherwise unlawful or objectionable.

Returns policy

Due to their perishable nature, flowers and plants are non-returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights. While we endeavour to ensure that the information on this website is correct, we do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of its material. We may make changes to the material on this website or to any services or prices described in it, at any time without notice. The material on this website may be out of date, and we do not make any commitment to update this material.


Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission at www.saffronroseflowers.com releases us from any liability on our part. We shall only use personal data received from you for the purpose of fulfilling our obligations. Your purchase will be deemed to have occurred in the UK. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
